Two Yearlings bought at Fasig-Tipton Sales

Last week at Fasig-Tipton’s yearling sale in Lexington Kip & team bought two yearlings to start next year’s pinhooking venture.

The first was Hip 261, a colt by Warrior’s Reward.  This is his second crop and he is off to a very good start with 30 winners already from his first crop.  This colt is out of a Malibu Moon mare that goes back to a good Alfred Vanderbilt family.

The second purchase was Hip 328, a filly by the exciting young sire, Creative Cause.  This filly is the half- sister to Tom’s Ready, a colt we bought for a client at last year’s Saratoga Sale.  She was bred by Christian Black’s Blackstone Farm in PA, is eligible for the lucrative Pennsylvania Program, and bred by people in whom we have great confidence.

Both of these will have an easy summer & start light training in September.
