FREEDOM ROAD (Malibu Moon) won his first start willingly at 2 sprinting at Monmouth Park. Next out he tried the Sapling Stakes without luck. Racing next in the Laurel Futurity he got up in time for the show and earned his first black type. After a long break, he is back with a win today in winning in allowance company at Tampa Bay racing 6 furlongs on the dirt. He came from way off the pace and nailed the field close to the wire. The 3 year old colt is trained by Gregory D. Sacco for owner Pinnacle Racing Team. FREEDOM ROAD was sold by Kirkwood at OBS March last spring.
