Ack Naughty, Madone Among Supplements to January Sale

Keeneland has announced that 15 horses are in the latest round of supplements to the 2023 January Horses of All Ages Sale. Catalog pages for these horses will appear online at Keeneland.com and in the Equineline Sales Catalog App Jan. 3. The January Sale will cover four sessions from Jan. 9-12.

Among the highlights of these supplements are:

-year-old daughter of Vancouver  who won the 2021 San Clemente Stakes (G2T) and Senorita Stakes (G3T). A dual listed stakes winner at 2, Madone sells as a broodmare or racing prospect and is consigned by Eaton Sales, agent.

 

 

 

2 winners for Kirkwood Stables

PHRA  PHROM (Street Sense) raced 6 furlongs at Laurel to graduation by a head in a MSW. He rated and then cleared when asked for the win. He has been knocking at the door and got the job done today. He is trained and owned by  Jose Corralesand co-owned by Maria Corrales. The breeder of record is Stonegate Stables LLC & Godolphin (NY).

STARTWITHABANG (Jump Start) ran 2nd in the Maryland Million Distaff Starter Handicap at Laurel this summer. Running back today at 1 1/8 at Laurel, she ding donged between 1st and 2nd and ended up 1st at the wire.  The 4 year old filly is trained by  Rodolfo Sanchez-Salomon for Mi Patria Racing.
