CATHEDRAL READER (Shackleford) added a stakes place finish in the AMERICAN BEAUTY S to her pedigree page going 6 furlongs at Oaklawn Park. Last out sprinting 5 1/2 furlongs in an off the turf allowance race, CATHEDRAL READER saved ground and then angled out to duel with and wear down the favorite for a 3/4 length win. This is her second win in a row in allowance company – the last at Keeneland last month. CATHEDRAL READER has only been off the board once in 7 starts. She has earned $174,450 for G M B Racing and trainer Dallas Stewart.
