FIRE FOR EFFECT graduates at Gulfstream for West Point Thoroughbreds
FIRE FOR EFFECT (Smart Strike) had a very bumpy start first out in November, but in his second start, he worked his way clear near the quarter pole and wore down a resolute foe ( a million dollar plus Uncle Mo colt) for the win. He was bred by Jellystone Holdings LLC (KY) and is trained by Dale L. Romans.

2 yo ONEBALLNOSTRIKES broke his maiden at Monmouth this September in his first start. Running back in allowance company he has been second and has now garnered a win. He swooped by his field and scored by almost 7 lengths. He was racing a mile at PARX for owner Carguys Racing LLC. He is trained by John C. Servis. ONEBALLNOSTRIKES was started and then consigned and sold by Kirkwood at Timonium this past spring.
2 yo GRAY DUDE graduates at Gulfstream
2 yo gelding, GRAY DUDE (First Dude), raced like a seasoned professional in his third start to break his maiden going 1 1/16 on the turf at Gulfstream. 2 yo colt, ST. PERERINE, had not been off the board in his prior 2 starts, but he found the winner’s circle today to graduate going 6 furlongs at Hawthorne. Off from the 1 hole, he went to the lead and racing just of the rail, he wired the field for the win. He is a homebred for Brady Tauber & Steve Gordon and is trained by Brian Williamson.
2 yo filly CLEVER GIRL wins her first 2 lifetime!
Two year old CLEVER GIRL swung 4 wide and split horses to clear the field for a dramatic 3 1/2 length win at Churchill in her first start at the end of October. Making her second start, we won again this time at the Fair Grounds shortening to about 7 1/2 furlongs on the turf. She pressed the pace and then wore down her rival in deep stretch for the win. CLEVER GIRL is owned by Tracy Farmer and is trained by Brad H. Cox.

2 yo RED CORVETTE (Warrior’s Reward) figured it out after one race. Racing at a mile on the turf, he went right to the lead, rated there and then responded well in the stretch to wire the field. 2 yo THE WALK (Hansen) was second last out in the CHRISTOPHER ELSER MEMORIAL S at PARX. Trained by Thomas Albertrani. and owned by West Point Thoroughbreds, THE WALK, added another stakes placing to his name, running third in the KINGS SWAN S. at Aqueduct despite being in a bumper car scenario at the start. He has earned over $80,000.
