The well named two year old filly, EGYPTIAN HONEY, (Pioneerof the Nile–Chief’s Honey) pressed the pace and then took over at will and broke her maiden easily by 6 1/2 lengths in a MSW at Indiana Grand. The race was originally scheduled at a mile on the turf but came off the grass to be run at a mile and 70 in the slop. She is owned by Tracy Farmer and was bred by Mike Abraham.

AMAZE ME GRACE, a two year old Stormy Atlantic filly, sat behind horses going 1 1/16 on the turf at Belmont and then cleared for the lead and held on for the win in her second start. She is owned by Tracy Farmer.
Two wins for Kirkwood grads this weekend
Halibut Cove made his second start a winning one for owners Christopher and George Elser. He overcame crowding at the start and swung wide at the turn to go past the field and win by 3 lengths in a MSW at Delaware Park. The two year old colt was Elser Farms Corp.
Lead Singer went right to the lead and stayed there to wire the field in an AOC at the Meadowlands. He is owned by VinLaur Racing Stables, LLC and was bred by Sha-Li Leasing Associates, Inc. The five year old gelding has earned over $147,000 for his connections.
Borseggiatore wins at Keeneland
BORSEGGIATORE, now owned by the Ramseys, won at Keeneland for new trainer Joe Sharp. He found a seam, shifted out, split horses and wore down the leaders for the win. He has earned over $73,000.

West Point’s three year old Scat Daddy filly Lavender Chrissie, ran in 2 X allowance conditions at Keeneland. She attended the pace in second and then took over the lead and held to the wire. Bajan Beach wins at Finger Lakes
Speightstown three year old filly BAJAN BEACH swung wide to win by 3 3/4 lengths going away at Finger Lakes and improved her earnings to over $58,000. She was claimed out of the race and we wish her new connections the best.
River Dell wins at Belmont
West Point owned two year old Arch colt, RIVER DELL, was away in good order and stalked from the two-path and then came out to clear the field and hold on to graduate at Belmont over a sloppy track. It was his second time out of the gate. RIVER DELL was second in his first outing and has earned $69,600.
Tom’s Ready wins at Churchill

KNIGHT OF DRAMA, consigned and sold by Kirkwood at Barretts in May, tried his luck in stakes company in the Barretts Juvenile Stakes. He dueled determinedly throughout but had to settle with the show position. He has his maiden condition ahead of him although he has been knocking on the door with a second last out.
