Animal Instinct breaks his maiden at Gulfstream
West Point Thoroughbreds’ 4-year-old gelding, ANIMAL INSTINCT by Leroidesanimaux {Brz}, sat out his 3-year-old year, but made up for it today at Gulfstream with an impressive maiden score. He sailed to the lead in the shadow of the wire going 9 furlongs. In mid-stretch he had a big job to do to overtake the leader, but he rallied strongly for the win. He was bred by Anthony Robinson (FL) and is trained by Graham Motion.
Spartiatis wins allowance race at Aqueduct
SPARTIATIS, a 6 year old Scat Daddy gelding, had to duel for almost the entire 6 furlongs but he put away his rival in the stretch to win an allowance race at Aqueduct. He is a homebred for C. Peter Beler trained by Leon Blusiewicz. Spartiatis has earned over $170,000.
Clair de Lune breaks her maiden at Aqueduct
