MR FRENCH(GB) graduates 2nd time out
The internationally flavored MR FRENCH (GB) by Mr Sidney, was bred by Earl Haras du Quesnay, was born in England and is out of a French mare. He was sold by Kirkwood as a 2 year old to clocker/blooodstock agent, Gary Young. Now owned by Jim Daniell and trained by Jonathan Thomas he won his second outing going a mile on the turf at Tampa Bay, despite a bump at the start and racing 3 wide throughout.

SPARTIATIS (Scat Daddy) was fanned wide and then wider but got up to win a $62,000 AOC at Aqueduct for owner/breeder C. Peter Beler. Further south at Turfway, TROPHY GIRL scored in a MSW going 1 1/16 on the all weather surface. She is owned by Tracy Farmer.

SAINT ADALBERT (Langfuhr) sprinted 5 1/2 furlongs at Golden Gate to wire the field and annex his second win in a row and his 6th win lifetime. He is owned by Lawnman II, Inc.
GRAY DUDE wins his second
3 year old gelding GRAY DUDE (First Dude) now has 2 wins and a 3rd in 4 lifetime starts. Going a mile on the turf at Gulfstream, he rated and then came wide to get up for the win. He is owned by Joe Sterrenberg.

Two stakes placings for Kirkwood graduates
Realm (Haynesfield) had moved up from a allowance win to run third in the G1 Cigar Mile, and add a graded stakes placing to his credentials in his last start. He added to that today running third in the Hal’s Hope G3. He was bothered at the start, settled into stride on the rail, inched up and the came on outside to the third. Realm is owned by his trainer Barclay Tagg , Eric Dattner and Harry Astarita and has earned over $200,000 for his connections.
At two, BANTY’S GIRL (Shackleford) came around horses and out-dueled the leader to get up for the win racing 6 furlongs on the inner track at Aqueduct. She followed that up today as a newly turned three year old with a third in the Ruthless S. to add black type to her pedigree. She is owned by Robert Masiello and Two-Five Stable and trained Thomas Albertrani
MOONLIGHTNMIDNIGHT sails to a wire to wire graduation
MOONLIGHTNMIDNIGHT (Wilburn) zipped out of the gate, grabbed the rail and sailed to an 8/1/4 length wire to wire win going a mile on the dirt on a wet track at the Fair Grounds. The race was originally scheduled for the turf. She is owned by West Point Thoroughbreds and trained by Dallas Stewart.

FIRE FOR EFFECT (Smart Strike) had a very bumpy start first out in November, but in his second start, he worked his way clear near the quarter pole and wore down a resolute foe ( a million dollar plus Uncle Mo colt) for the win.
