Kirkwood Stables is a full-service Thoroughbred breaking and training facility professionally equipped to prepare young horses for 2 year olds in training sales, develop them to go directly to racetracks and rehabilitate horses of racing age prior returning to the racetrack. Additionally, we are one of only two facilities in the country offering training services under quarantine.

The Kirkwood center operates out of the Springdale Racecourse. The facilities in Camden South Carolina offer a mild winter climate, all of the amenities trainers, owners, and pinhookers seek in Ocala, plus the added Kirkwood benefit of customized training programs tailored to each individual horse. The personal attention pays off with well prepared horses ready to perform all year long.
