KIP ELSER, KIRKWOOD STABLES on No Gallop Out initiative: I wholeheartedly endorse Ciaran Dunne's position as published yesterday in the TDN. First and foremost, this initiative will serve to better protect the horses entrusted to our care. Protecting our horses is in the best interest of buyers, sellers and the industry as a whole. Though I am not selling at the OBS April Sale, Kirkwood Stables' horses will not be urged in any way to gallop out beyond the wire in their breezes at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Sale and will be eased up around the turn. I encourage others to join this important initiative.
